HUNTER S THOMPSON's widow, ANITA, is to edit a new Colorado society magazine called "The Woody Creeker". Satirist PJ O'ROURKE will write a profile of her husband for the upcoming first issue. Due out Feb. 20, the one year anniversary of HUNTER S THOMPSON's death. The magazine will also include the many letters sent to ANITA after HUNTER's death.


Just a little something I found on my program's news-page. I don't know where the link is, but I saved the info in my email. If anyone else has more info, please do share.

Also there's this new documentary out, directed by Wayne Ewing, (who did Breakfast w/ Hunter) about the construction of the Gonzo fist cannon. It also shows the actual take-off of the good doctor's ashes.

Well, today is the one-year anniversary of the day the good doctor died. I wore my Gonzo fist tee all day and shot a gun off at 5:42 pm in my backyard...the neighbors weren't too happy about it...
