Unfortunately I havent read the book yet... and I'm too busy to get to it anytime soon . When I eventually get around to it I'll let you all know what I think of it.

Peace, RaRo

Neither have I,

I can't find a copy. I hear it's not as humor-based as the movie.

in my opinion the book is way better than the movie. the events in the movie were differnent than in the book they were moved around all scrambled didnt happen in the order the movie put them in. thats all that got me. but for the most part i think the movie did the book damn good justice. I found my copy at Books-A-Millions the people at that store are nice they'll find it for you or if they dont have a book your are looking for they will order it for ya.

I liked both equally the same, I think. Both, of course, are worth reading and watching. My copy was an original. My dad read it, and it was lieing around the house, I read a few pages, thought it was funny, but didn't get too serious until I coincidently watched the first 15 minutes of it at my friend's house, then I had to read it.

****Forgot to mention, for you HST fans, he released a new book recently (Late August, 2004) and it's called 'Hey Rube' good stuff.****

In the book I bought, it had little "Steadman-splotches" on some of the pages w/ just all words, which looked really kool. The only scene in the book that bothered me was the scene when Duke and Gonzo are in the diner asking where to find the American Dream, and the waitresses are telling them it's a warehouse or something
